Clinical Therapist

Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, Ky., has a full-time position available for a Clinical Therapist in its Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Position Summary:  A Clinical Therapist professionally applies therapeutic methods and applications to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders for the geriatric population. This position will work closely with the medical treatment team, which includes our medical director, director of IOP, psychiatrist, certified psychiatric physician assistant/nurse practitioner, nurse, and therapist. The main responsibility of the clinical therapist is to conduct interviews and assessments with patients, provide psychotherapy, create treatment plans and complete treatment goals, and arrange/coordinate services.

Education:  Applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited university. Applicants must also have their LCSW/LPCC licensure in good standing for the state of Kentucky.

Experience:  Applicants must have two (2) years’ experience as a therapist, and at least one (1) year as a LCSW or LPCC. It is requested that applicants have one (1) year experience working with adult patients, preferably geriatric patients 65 years or older.

Salary:  $60,000-$70,000 (paid out as hourly wages)
